27 OCT – Lunch

Feeling a little down today, decided to treat myself to a sandwich. Pretty easy to make, only took an extra few minutes, and it was so worth it. =) Made it w/ chevré, wilted garlic spinach, avocado w/ mustard, smoked salmon, and a poached egg. (All of which we had on hand, strangely. I wonder how long its all been rotting in the fridge… =P )

I liked it so much you get two photos:

Another Day at Market

Super excited to share these photos. Food/Market photography is one of my favorite photographic divertissements, if you will. Not only are the atmospheres of farmers’ markets fantastic, but all the food is laid out in a sublimely photogenic bounty, basking in the diffused light of a pop-up canopy. Lighting gold, I tell you. =) I hope you enjoy viewing these as much as I did taking and editing them…

16 March: Afternoon Silhouette

The low hanging branches, dangling in the gentle breeze, were the perfect subject to contrast against the afternoon sun… It has both a comforting warmth, and an unsettling haze, which gives the photo an interesting dichotomy, in my oh-so-humble opinion. 🙂

Bye. 🙂

6 March: A Walk Down the Street…

…And I just happened to run into this tree, which was very uncomfortable for both. I got leaves and the lovely, delicate blossoms all over my clothes, and the poor tree got an overly ample amount of photo time…
